S.L.A.M VISION
We strive to innovate and create a new concept of managing safety in the marine industry.
With the help of our team members and mentors, we have made a concept of a product that could solve a number of problems and reduce the number of accidents, fatalities and assure each and every seafarers and mariners alike safety throughout the voyage and get them home safely.
With the vast ocean out for us to sail through and the amount of crew sent out on their voyage for their usual work, we aim to help, protect and assure the safety of their lives as there is no replacement for a life lost at sea nor a member of a family.
As vessels become more advanced, so do their safety features. With autonomous vessels becoming a reality in the future, less crew is needed for their operation. Thus the safety features need to be refined in order to meet their operational needs.

Why did we take part?
We took part in this competition to prove ourselves that we can break barriers of our own mind and create something that could save lives and use the money that could be won by improving ourselves educationally in the future. To become greater learners,achievers and also aspire to create an impact in the maritime industry.
