From all the factors we have researched and the problems we have found in the marine industry about safety, we came up with a concept nicknamed 'the One Man Station' whereby it is a system that allows crew or engineers to carry out any work in the engine room with the flexibility of acknowledging from a personal device wherever they are instead going to the reset station.At the same time any major breaches to safety can be relay back to the safety officer using this device.
